York Mosque

The mosque in York currently occupies a converted brick building and an adjacent pre-fabricated structure. As the community has grown, so has the need for a new, purpose built mosque.

The model was constructed to demonstrate the new design to members of the mosque and to aid fundraising.  The two storey building includes a prayer hall, community facilities and a flat for the Imam. Ecologically designed it includes a "green" roof.

Construction of the first phase is now underway.
